Monday, March 17th, 2014Sunday Colonie meeting may be dissolved
Sunday, March 16th, 2014At its meeting Saturday, 3/15/14, the Intergroup discussed the possibility of dissolving the regular Sunday night Colonie meeting in Pine Grove Church. Members have reported coming to the meeting only to find that no one else attended, and the church was locked. If attendance does not improve by the time of Intergroup’s May 17, 2014 meeting, the Sunday meeting may be dissolved and removed from the Intergroup calendar. Anyone wishing to discuss this matter with Intergroup may send an e-mail to capregslaa@gmail.com.

First Annual Albany SLAA-thon on 4-16-11
Saturday, March 19th, 2011The Shamebusters meeting, which takes place Saturday mornings at 9am at Pine Grove Methodist Church, is holding a SLAA-Thon on April 16. The regular meeting will take place at 9:00, to be followed by the event,
The format is:
11:15am-12:15pm Workshop #1: Setting bottom and top lines
12:15-1:15pm: Lunch Break
1:15-2:15pm: Workshop #2: How to actively work the 12 steps
2:30-3:30pm: Workshop #3: Healthy relationships and dating in sobriety
Coffee, tea, water, fruit and nuts will be provided in a hospitality room, as well as an open alternate space between and during workshops. Feel free to bring your own lunch.
Serenity Group Anniversary Party – Fri 6/4/10
Tuesday, June 1st, 2010The Serenity Group that meets at Bethany Reformed Church on New Scotland Ave is having their 8th anniversary party on Friday 6/4/10. There will be a meeting at normal time of 6pm, followed by a pot luck dinner.
Please bring a non-alcoholic dish. If you can, please label ingredients so that people with food issues know what’s in your special dish.
